Yes its the same. Plus you get the PS3.
BUY it!
I did
Same as the others said, the bluray is great. But it also will upconvert regular dvd’s to make them almost high def. And you have a gaming console, cd player, media disk reader, online web browser, all for the same price as a stand-alone blu-ray player. If you wanna play older playstation games on it, don’t buy the newer ones though.
Yes. as of right now the ps3 is actually cheaper than most blu ray players.
So i would suggest you go ahead can purchase a ps3. plus it has the added advantage of online access, so it can be updated to support future blu-ray formats.
Of course you can also play games on it.
PS3 blu-ray is a standard blue-ray player. The resolution bump up does sound familiar but I haven’t noticed it to be honest on my PS3.
Then again I don’t have a HDTV so the PS3 is somewhat wasted on me unfortunately…
Blue ray players are now manufactured for the new dvds cds and vcds or games that use the blue ray disc which has an encrypted code so tht copyrighting and illegal disc selling will be stopped.
Yup it works just like any other blu ray player pretty much. Sony took a loss putting them into the PS3.. Buy the PS3… you get the Blu-ray plus a video game console…It’s a win-win.
yes it does i have a ps3 and the blue ray player is amazing
Yes, it works exactly the same.
