well, I got both this and the "DvdDr 70105 00 Premier Laser Lens Cleaner" when my blu-ray player started skipping about halfway through various blu-ray discs. I ran it a few times and it made the slightest improvement... as in enough so that I knew I was not imagining it. I then put in the other cleaner and ran it a few times and started up my DVD. Noticeable improvement there - ran the DvdDR a few more times and the disc never skipped on me. Skip this thing and go get the DvdDR.

PS3 works less
I purchased the cleaner for my PS3, I have had similar problems to other people that purchased the product, namely the PS3 has trouble reading some blurays but dvds it reads ok. I was hopeful that this lens cleaning solution would solve the problem but all I got was a DVD with two holes in it and some menus with stuff to test my speakers and whatnot. Needless to say my PS3 still has the issue after using the product repeatedly. Now I am aware that a laser cleaning kit serves as a maintenance tool to prevent issues like what I am having from occurring, but a DVD with two holes in it does not strike me as an effective means to remove dust. I guess I'll have to try and open it up and clean it manually or just man up and buy another PS3.

I personally don't think this works
I bought this with hopes that it would help my PS3 read a disc. I feel it actually made my playstaion worse because it would actually reconize a disc every once and a while before I tried it but after I used it my ps3 would not read at all. I ended up replacing my bluray drive laser and now my playstation work like new. When the disc is in the cleaning application a sound is played through your tv like the disc is spinning faster and faster, but in actuality the cd does not change speeds or spin fast at all.I think this thing is a scam because I'm not sure if my laser went out at the same exact time that I used this cd or if it was the cd that broke the laser. I don't feel this will do much of any cleaning, if anything at all it probably stirs up dust and then the more dust settles back down on the laser.

Worthless product
I have a BD player and the playback on some blu-rays was hanging up in some parts. I tried this but using it several times, the problem remains the same. The blu-rays still hang up (no theyre not heavily scratched or something). In my experience, this product is just not effective. No, it won't worsen or ruin your player but it is ineffective.
The so called patented 'wind funnel technology' that this product uses just doesn't work. What it does is ..it has 2 holes on the opposite sides of the disc and when you play it, the disc rotates and the holes blow wind towards the lens to clean it. This can never compare to brush cleaning. If you're looking for an effective blu-ray lens cleaner search somewhere else. I myself am waiting for the name brands sony or samsung to come up with a BD lens cleaner so i can buy it. I bought this thing after reading some of the five star reviews here and now i feel like i ended up wasting money.

It killed my PS3
My PS3 blueray player was working intermittently before I purchased this product. Now it does not work at all. I gave it 1 star because there is not a zero option.
